The Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) is a program offered by the Department of Naval Science.
Application Process
To apply for the MECEP program, follow these steps:
- Fill out the MECEP application.
- Visit the MECEP Requirements page for more information.
- The process is outlined in MCO 1040.43B, MARADMIN 191/20 & MARADMIN 166/20.
- Check the MARADMINs for Selection Board and Officer Candidate School (OCS) Dates, as due dates vary depending on the academic year.
Application and Notification Dates
- Summer:
- Application deadline: March 1st
- Notification date: January 15th for early applicants
- Fall:
- Application deadline: April 1st
- Notification date: January 15th for early applicants
- Spring:
- Application deadline: November 30th
- Notification date: September 15th for early applicants
- Otherwise, notifications will be on a rolling basis.
