Overview

Our Project Management Fundamentals program consists of six individual classes focusing on project management fundamentals. Students who complete all six classes will be awarded the Project Management Fundamentals Program digital badge and will earn PDUs through individual classes or the comprehensive six-class program.


The program can be completed in just six weeks, with each class building on the previous one. Alternatively, students can spread the coursework over multiple semesters. We offer flexible options to fit any learning pace and schedule. Our student success team will assist students with progress tracking and provide support throughout the program.


  • Beginners: Start with Foundations of Project Management and Strategies and Best Practices for Project Management to establish a solid foundation in project management principles.
  • Experienced Professionals: Choose classes independently to focus on specific topics or fill knowledge gaps. Join our program to enhance your skills, earn PDU credits, and advance your project management career.

Schedule

  • Each class includes six hours of instruction.
  • Complete the program in one or more semesters.
  • Customize your class schedule by mixing and matching different formats.

Format

  • Daytime: One day from 9 am to 4 pm (with a lunch break).
  • Evening: Two evenings (3 hours each) from 6 pm to 9 pm.
  • Schedules vary semester to semester.
  • Our classes are live (not recorded) and may be offered online, or in-person.
  • Classes with the same section number will be offered consecutively in the same format.

  • PROED 542 Advanced Practices in Agile and Scrum
  • PROED 543 Risk, Scope, and Resource Management
  • PROED 544 Project Leadership, Teambuilding and Communication
  • PROED 545 AI-Enhanced Project Management

Classes are currently priced at $307* each.

Completion

Coursework:


  • All class materials are held in Canvas.
  • Attendance and participation are mandatory.
  • Classes may include pre-work found in Canvas page one week before class begins.

Grading


  • Classes are graded on attendance and participation.
  • Students must attend full class (6 hours) to receive an S (passing grade).
  • Grades will be available in your student account at the end of the semester.
  • Our class offerings are not for university credit.
