Human Resources Certificate

The Human Resources Certificate program is designed for working professionals who want to improve their leadership skills in human resources management. The program provides essential training in transformational leadership, organizational performance management, staffing and career management, and more.

Program Details

• Graduate-level certificate
• 15 graduate credits / 5 courses
• Start dates: January, May, August
• Gain advanced human resources management credentials through a flexible online program
• Each course is approved for 45 recertification Professional Development Credits (PDCs) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

Tuition & Fees

• Estimated cost: $629 per credit hour or $9,435 for the entire program
• Pay the same tuition rate whether you are in-state or out-of-state
• This program is not eligible for financial aid but may be covered by your employer’s education benefits program
• You may take advantage of an optional, interest-free semester-based payment plan offered by the University to help spread the cost of eligible charges over monthly payment
• Additional fees may apply, including course materials

Scholarships

• Spring 2026 scholarships available, with award values ranging from $500 to $3834
• The maximum scholarship award will cover the cost of tuition and fees for up to two courses
• Apply by November 7

Admission Requirements & Deadlines

• To begin in the fall (August): application must be submitted by July 1
• To begin in the spring (January): application must be submitted by November 1
• To begin in the summer (May): application must be submitted by April 1
• Applicants must have an undergraduate degree
