EMT Initial Certification Program
The EMT Initial Certification program is offered by UVA Health Prehospital Services.
Program Details
- The program starts on July 14, 2025, and ends on November 18, 2025.
- Classes and labs are held every Tuesday from 8a-4p and are mandatory.
- The first week of class will meet on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 8a-4p and Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 8a-4p.
- The program includes online learning, in-person lectures with labs, and hospital clinical rotations.
- The hospital clinical rotations consist of one adult emergency department rotation.

Program Costs
