Program Overview

Global MBA Program

The Global MBA program at Goizueta Business School is designed for students who want to immerse themselves in international business. This program blends academic rigor, cultural immersion, and real-world experiential learning across multiple continents in just one year.

Program Structure

• The program consists of three semesters:
  • Summer Semester: Build your foundation with the full MBA core curriculum and apply your learning through a real client consulting project. Then travel to Copenhagen, Denmark for a Global Experiential Module that brings global business and culture into focus.
  • Fall Semester: Spend a full semester learning and expanding your network at a leading international partner school. Choose your location—Hong Kong, Barcelona, or São Paulo— and gain firsthand experience immersed in an international setting.
  • Spring Semester: Take a deep dive into the intersection of business, policy, and leadership with a weeklong immersion in Washington, DC. Then, return to Atlanta to customize your path with electives. As a capstone experience, you will travel to Mexico City for a unique exploration of emerging markets.

• Weeklong Global Immersions:
  • Copenhagen: Explore how to create a life where career success and personal well-being thrive together. Witness firsthand how Danish culture—and institutions like Lego, Pandora, the Happiness Research Institute—embody work-life harmony through empathy, innovation, and social trust.
  • Washington, DC: Learn directly from current and former legislators, regulators, corporate executives, lobbyists, and policy experts who bring real-world perspectives on how decisions are made—and how they shape industries and organizations.
  • Mexico City: Learn with classmates from around the world directly from Mexican professors and business leaders, gaining first-hand insight into the country’s economic, cultural, and social landscape.

Study Abroad Locations

• Choose from three study abroad locations:
  • Barcelona, Spain: Study with a global cohort at our partner university, ESADE, in a vibrant cultural and entrepreneurial center.
  • Hong Kong: Immerse yourself with new connections in a global financial hub where East meets West, gaining insight into international trade, finance, and innovation.
  • São Paulo, Brazil: Experience Brazil’s largest city and economic epicenter, exploring emerging markets, diverse industries, and Latin American business practices firsthand.
