Program Overview
The online part-time Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Rollins provides intensive training on theories and methods of health promotion, planning and design of culturally informed interventions, program evaluation and data analysis, and principles of community engagement.
Curriculum
The online part-time MPH in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences curriculum is a total of 42 credit hours, including:
- Core BSHES curriculum courses
- Core RSPH courses in biostatistics, epidemiology, global health, environmental health, and health policy and management
- A capstone project
- 200 hours working in an applied practice experience
Part-time programs are structured around 5-6 credit hours per semester with a total of 42 credit hours to complete the degree. The structure allows flexibility to increase or decrease the number of credits taken each semester to accommodate schedules and still complete the degree within the required time limit of five years.

Admissions
In addition to the SOPHAS application, all applicants will need to submit the following materials when applying to the online part-time MPH in BSHES:

The GRE is not required for admission and will not be considered as part of the application for admission.
