Course Description

The course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of tooth morphology, including the principles of macromorphology and the morphology of temporary and permanent teeth. Students will learn to identify and describe the morphology of human teeth, including dental macrostructures and macromorphological variables.

Learning Objectives

After completing the course, students are expected to be able to:

  • Identify human teeth and dental macrostructures, and read macromorphological variables on teeth
  • Determine the age of a young individual based on the mineralization stage and/or eruption of teeth
  • Present the clinical application of knowledge about the structures of the mouth and teeth
