Course Description
The course is divided into three main areas:
- Analysis of a sport, where students collect data and test methods to determine the physiological requirements of different sports.
- Analysis of various test methods, based on the analysis of the sport, to evaluate athletes.
- Based on the analysis of the sport, students propose training plans, discussing how different types of training (aerobic, anaerobic, and strength training) should be prioritized throughout the year. Additionally, they provide practical guidelines on how to combine these training forms.

Recommended Prerequisites
It is recommended to take the course "Træningsfysiologi" (Training Physiology) before this course in training planning. The teaching assumes that students have professional competencies from "Træningsfysiologi" and basic work physiology.

Students submit 2 group assignments during the course: one in workload analysis of a sport and one in training planning for a sport. Guidance is offered in the preparation of the assignments. After submission, students receive feedback in the form of written comments from the teacher for each assignment. The assignments are also presented in plenary, where both students and teachers give oral feedback.
Examination
- Points: 7.5 ECTS.
- Exam form: Oral exam, 15 minutes, without preparation.
- Written submission.
Examination Details
- Oral examination based on a group synopsis with a centrally posed question formulation. The task can be seen in Digital Examination on Monday at 12.00 in the week before the exam week, and the synopsis is uploaded on Monday at 12.00 in the exam week.
- The length of the synopsis is a maximum of 5 pages, à 2400 keystrokes including spaces, but excluding figures/tables and reference list. Pages beyond the permitted will not be assessed. The synopsis serves as a basis for the oral exam, 15 minutes per student in the group. The exam is without preparation and takes its starting point in the synopsis, but must be able to be perspectivized in relation to the course's general learning objectives.
- A combined grade (holistic assessment) of the synopsis and the oral exam is given.
Aids
- Only certain aids are allowed (see description below).
- For the synopsis, all aids can be used.
- For the oral exam, only the synopsis can be brought, and no other aids.
Assessment Form
- 7-point scale.
- Censorship form: External censorship.
- Re-examination: Same as the ordinary exam. At re-examination, a synopsis from the ordinary oral exam can be reused or submitted in a revised form. If no synopsis was submitted for the ordinary exam, one must be submitted no later than one week before the date of the oral re-exam.
