The Kandidatuddannelsen in Litteraturvidenskab (Candidatus in Literary Science) is a two-year master's program that builds upon the bachelor's degree in Literary Science. The program focuses on analyzing literature and other forms of textual and cultural phenomena, with a theoretical and historical perspective.
Admissions Requirements
To be eligible for admission, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Literary Science or a related field, with a minimum of 45 ECTS credits in literary science, including 30 ECTS credits in comparative literary history. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in Danish (A level) and English (B level).
Program Structure
The program consists of four semesters, with the following structure:
- 1st semester: Analysis seminar (15 ECTS) and research topic (15 ECTS)
- 2nd semester: Text/context (15 ECTS) and elective course (15 ECTS)
- 3rd semester: Elective course (15 ECTS) and specialization (15 ECTS)
- 4th semester: Master's thesis (30 ECTS)
