Course Content
The course covers the principles and theories of plant and vegetation ecology, with a focus on the conscious selection of plants to achieve specific architectural expressions, space creation, and habitat creation for fauna.
Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to plan and manage vegetation in and around cities, including:
- Understanding the relationships between growth conditions and plant growth
- Identifying and describing the aesthetic and application possibilities of a range of plants
- Understanding the consequences of establishment techniques and subsequent maintenance for vegetation development
