NIGB16001U Byplan studio – Strategi og design 2

- Course content: The course is a project-based studio course that prepares students for the bachelor project in urban design and planning.
- The course covers:
- Strategic planning from vision and strategy to design of concrete interventions
- Analysis of problem statements and challenges in a project area
- Proposal of solutions, including vision, strategy, and concrete interventions
- Use of quantitative, qualitative, and spatial analysis methods
- Written, visual, and oral communication
Course Objectives
- The main objective of the course is to enable students to:
- Understand how visions and strategies can be concretized and implemented through concrete interventions
- Design concrete interventions
- Develop a Local Plan that includes their own design proposal
- After completing the course, students will have:
- Knowledge of the legislative framework for landscape architecture, planning, and urban design
- Familiarity with methods and tools for idea development and solution design
- Familiarity with tools for visualization and communication of their professional ideas
