Program Description

• As a medical expert and professional, demonstrate knowledge of methods for describing functional ability at the level of the body, activity, and participation, and apply these methods to concrete cases.
• Summarize the socially relevant provisions in social and health legislation and the role of the doctor in this context.
• Describe the current agreements for exchanging social and health information in a concrete case.

Skills

• Analyze and describe all elements of functional ability and its development in a concrete case, based on health factors, personal factors, and environmental factors.
• Evaluate and reflect on symptoms and findings with a view to deriving the need for further information, treatment, clinical prevention, and/or rehabilitation.
• Develop a concrete and exhaustive action plan with treatment and social measures that can improve or compensate for functional impairment or risk thereof.
• Apply current agreements for exchanging social and health information in a concrete case.

Competencies

• Design and present a medical record with emphasis on an exhaustive description and assessment of functional ability and its constituent elements, as well as an action plan, and argue for this plan.
