Program Overview

  • Knowledge: Understand the organization, financing, and management of the Danish healthcare system, as well as the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals.
  • Skills: Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different organizational and financing models for healthcare systems, explain how health information systems contribute to information collection and sharing, and master digital scientific information searching and reference handling.
  • Competencies: Reflect on the opportunities and challenges presented by increased digitalization and data intensification in the healthcare system, and argue for these independently.

Program Structure

The program consists of lectures, student presentations, group work, and individual and collaborative writing exercises. The total workload is estimated to be 275 hours, including 30 hours of lectures, 30 hours of group instruction, and 215 hours of preparation.


Assessment

The program assessment includes a written on-site exam with supervision, lasting 4 hours. Only certain aids are allowed, and there is no access to the internet. The exam is graded as "passed" or "not passed."
