Course Description
The course provides students with the necessary knowledge to understand how the human body functions. It presents the main features of the anatomy and physiology of organs and organ systems, with a focus on the following topics:

Learning Objectives
After completing the course, students are expected to be able to:
Knowledge:
- Explain the main components and functions of the eukaryotic cell
- Describe the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins
- Describe the anatomy of the major organs and organ systems
- Explain the physiology of the major organs and organ systems
- Describe fertilization, pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation
- Describe the main principles of regulating the body's functions
Skills:
- Apply and master medical terminology related to human biology
Competencies:
- Transfer basic human physiological and anatomical theory to application in subsequent courses in pathology and pathophysiology
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and health science researchers
