Course Description

The course "Retorisk skrivning, sprog og stil" (Rhetorical Writing, Language, and Style) is a 15 ECTS course that focuses on the development of writing skills, language, and style. The course covers various aspects of rhetorical writing, including:


  • Analysis and production of written texts
  • Grammar and stylistics
  • Feedback strategies for written texts

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:


  • Analyze and evaluate written texts in terms of idea, content, structure, language, and style
  • Plan and produce written texts that are effective in communication situations
  • Apply grammatical and stylistic analysis tools to characterize and comment on texts
  • Work process-oriented and structured with writing tasks from idea to publishable text
