Evening MBA Program
The Evening MBA program at the McCombs School of Business is designed for working professionals who want to advance their careers without putting their jobs on hold. The program is cohort-based and takes place over two years, with classes meeting on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Academics & Curriculum
The program's comprehensive curriculum is designed to enhance students' understanding of core business principles and develop thought leadership. The curriculum includes core courses in finance, accounting, statistics, marketing, and other fundamental disciplines, as well as electives in leadership, technology, and global business.
Academic Intensives
During the program, students participate in three Academic Intensives held on the main campus of The University of Texas at Austin. These intensives feature course content delivery, career development sessions, and opportunities for community building and networking.
Class Schedules
The Evening MBA program meets for class on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:15 PM. Classes are held at the Texas McCombs MBA campus inside Robert B. Rowling Hall in Austin, Texas.
Year One - Fall Semester
The first semester begins with an Academic Intensive for 3-5 days at UT-Austin’s main campus in Austin, Texas. The semester focuses on building foundational business knowledge, with coursework including:
