Ophthalmology Residency
The Ophthalmology Residency at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin provides a transformative educational experience that shapes residents’ practice and delivery of health care through a profound understanding of the principles of value-based, patient-centered, integrated health care delivery for the management of ophthalmic disease.

Training Facilities
Residents spend their residency in Austin at Dell Medical School-affiliated hospitals, clinics, research laboratories, and surgery centers. Each training site provides a rich environment for team learning and community participation in teaching, research, and patient-centric/value-based care. The diversity of facilities gives residents the opportunity to observe how ophthalmology is practiced in both academic and private practice settings.
