Program Overview

The Cybersecurity Management certificate program is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of concepts and principles that will support the management of organizations with cybersecurity concerns. The program prepares students to plan, manage, and assess cyber technologies needed to secure critical corporate data and information, with an emphasis on operational design, technology acquisition, risk assessment, and governance.


Eligibility and Admission

  • The program is open to Virginia Tech graduate students and others not enrolled in Virginia Tech graduate programs.
  • VT students: Complete the Application for Graduate Certificate Program form.
  • Non-VT students: Complete the online Admission Application.
