The Haskayne Executive MBA program has specific admission requirements that applicants must fulfill.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Haskayne Executive MBA, applicants should fulfill one of the following three sets of criteria:
- A GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or higher in the last two years of a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited university AND at least seven years’ progressive work experience;

English Proficiency
Applicants for whom English is not a first language must either:
- Have a minimum score of 580 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based) or 97 (with a minimum 20 in each section) (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL);
- Have a minimum score of 7 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each section) on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Essay
Applicants will be asked to answer two short essay questions:
- How, considering your career progress to date, does an EMBA fit in with your future career goals? Please describe. (250 words)
- When thinking of your own personal successes, were they a result of your own personal skills or your ability to work with others? Please describe. (250 words)
Interview
Completed applications are reviewed by an admissions committee. If your application is selected to move forward, you will be invited for an interview.
