Program Overview


Practice Readiness Assessment Orientation for International Medical Graduate Candidates

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the group series, IMG candidates will be equipped to:


  • Relate the competencies of CanMEDS roles in the context of caring for patients in Alberta
  • Employ strategies in response to common challenges in IMG practice and integration into the Canadian healthcare system
  • Initiate an action plan for continuing learning in practice
