English Language Program
The English Language Program is designed to prepare students for the spring and fall semester programs.
Course Description
The program focuses on improving fluency in English conversation and practical English skills. It is an ideal course for students preparing for the spring and fall semester programs.
Course Content
- Emphasis on improving listening and speaking skills
- Learning about Canadian society, population, government, and related topics
- Acquiring vocabulary and expressions on related topics
- Gaining knowledge about Calgary and Alberta through city tours and other activities

Fees
The program fee is $975. Please note that this does not include emergency medical insurance or the use of recreational facilities.

The program consists of 50 hours of instruction.

The University of Calgary is situated on land Northwest of where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, a site traditionally known as Moh’kins’tsis to the Blackfoot, Wîchîspa to the Stoney Nakoda, and Guts’ists’i to the Tsuut’ina.
