Neuroanesthesia

The section of neuroanesthesia at Foothills Medical Centre (FMC) is comprised of seven fellowship-trained neuroanesthesiologists. The team provides anesthetic services for neurosurgical procedures, including awake craniotomy, and exclusively staffs the intraoperative MRI theatre. A complex spine anesthetic group provides care to patients undergoing adult deformity surgery.

Perioperative Medicine Fellowship

The Perioperative Medicine Fellowship is led by Dr. Kyle Rogan, a neuroanesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. Dr. Rogan's academic interests include spinal cord stimulators, depth of anesthesia monitoring, pain management, and perioperative pathway development.
