Program Logistics

Academics

• Students can take business core and elective courses at Universidad Torcuato di Tella that will transfer for the undergraduate business major or minor.
• Courses taken at Universidad Torcuato di Tella will transfer back to UNC Pass (UTDT grade of 4 and above)/Fail (UTDT grade below 4).
• The program fulfills the Experiential Education requirement or the High Impact Experience requirement (if under the new IDEAs curriculum).
• Full-time enrollment in this program is defined as a minimum of 12 UNC credit hours.

Language Prerequisite

• Language Prerequisite: 4 semesters
• Language of Instruction: English/Spanish
• Students are required to study Spanish throughout their stay and can choose to take a Spanish language course at a local Spanish language school or a BUSI course taught in Spanish at Universidad Torcuato di Tella.

Housing

• Universidad Torcuato di Tella does not have dormitories for local or international students, but provides resources on accommodation options in different neighborhoods.
• Students are encouraged to use a closed Facebook group to find roommates and receive recommendations from previous incoming students at UTDT.

Funding Your Global Program

Travel Documents

• Students must have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after the program's scheduled end date.
• If a student does not have a valid passport, they must submit a passport renewal application.
• Students may need to apply for a visa permitting them to study in Argentina, which requires an appointment at an Argentine consulate/embassy in the United States.
