Master of Accounting Program
The Master of Accounting (MAC) program is designed to provide students with the technical skills and soft skills required for a successful career in accounting. The program is open to students of all backgrounds, including accounting majors and non-accounting majors.
Program Formats
The MAC program is offered in two formats: On-Campus and Online.
On-Campus Format
The On-Campus format is a one-year program that provides students with a challenging and powerful curriculum delivered by supportive, top-notch faculty leveraging cutting-edge technology. The program is designed to help students build their careers in the accounting profession.
- No accounting background required: The program is open to students of all backgrounds, including accounting majors and non-accounting majors.
- Location: The program is delivered from the University of North Carolina campus in beautiful Chapel Hill.
- Recruitment: All of the Big 4 and middle-market accounting firms, as well as numerous major corporations, actively recruit and hire students from the program.
- Networking opportunities: Students will have the opportunity to network with their new Carolina family, including classmates and alumni.
Online Format
The Online format is designed to provide students with the flexibility to complete the program from anywhere in the world.
Admissions
The admissions process for the MAC program includes the following steps:
- Application: Students must submit an application to the program.
- Application requirements: Students must meet the application requirements, which include submitting transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation.
- Application deadlines: Students must submit their applications by the designated deadlines.
