Orientation and Impact Weekends
Each incoming class begins the program with a weekend-long Orientation in early January, ahead of the start of coursework in late January. During Orientation weekend, you’ll start to develop relationships with your classmates and study team, get to know the program staff and faculty, learn more about the career and leadership resources you’ll access throughout the program, and discover the Chapel Hill area. After that, you’ll come together with peers from all three of our Executive MBA formats for two dynamic Impact Weekends. These required courses are held over a three-day weekend, and are offered alternately between Chapel Hill (March) and Charlotte, NC (September). During Impact Weekends, you’ll participate in lectures and workshops focused on special leadership topics, hear from area executives, engage with local employers, and network with peers and UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni. You’ll also have time for social activities to deepen your connections with classmates.
