Program Overview
The Doctor of Audiology program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is designed to prepare exemplary clinicians who are qualified to practice patient-focused, evidence-based audiology in a wide variety of settings. The program is located in the UNC School of Medicine and has close ties to UNC Hospitals, providing unique strengths in areas such as pediatric and lifespan audiology, diagnostics, hearing aids, cochlear implants, balance, military audiology, and aural habilitation.
Program Objectives
The primary goal of the program is to develop clinical excellence in the professional, technical, and interpersonal domains. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) and the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA).
