Overview
The Master of Agribusiness program is designed for recent business, agricultural, or rural science graduates, and for established professionals wanting to upgrade their management skills or redirect their career into agribusiness. This program develops a keen market focus, commercial awareness, and an innovative and international outlook to succeed in the food and fibre industries.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Master of Agribusiness program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or
- A graduate certificate or graduate diploma in agribusiness, or
- Successfully completed at least 3 years of study towards an approved qualification at an overseas partner institution, with a formal pathway to the Master of Agribusiness. Applicants must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 on a 7-point scale in their previous qualification.

- Rural Development: Become a specialist in rural development with the leadership, research, and problem-solving skills needed to contribute to and improve the livelihoods of rural industries and communities.
Fees and Scholarships
The indicative annual fee for the Master of Agribusiness program is $9,835 (2026). International students can expect to pay approximately $54,096 (2026) for full-time tuition. There are also additional costs associated with compulsory field trip courses.

Student Visas
International students who are accepted into full-time study in the Master of Agribusiness are eligible to apply for an Australian student visa (subclass 500). There are a number of requirements you must satisfy before a visa is granted, including the Genuine Student (GS) requirement.
HECS-HELP
Domestic places in the Master of Agribusiness are Commonwealth supported. This means the cost of your education is shared between you and the Australian Government. Instead of tuition fees, Commonwealth supported students pay what are called student contribution amounts. HECS-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme to assist eligible students with the cost of their student contribution amounts.
