Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics and Digital Health is a program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve patient outcomes and clinician experiences through the application of digital health and data analytics. Developed in partnership with Queensland Health and the Digital Health CRC, this program focuses on national and state digital health priorities.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for entry, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, plus 2 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience, or
- To have completed post-secondary studies, plus 3 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience.
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
Relevant disciplines include: medicine, nursing, midwifery, psychology, counselling, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, allied health, human services, pharmacy, sports medicine, and audiology.
Relevant work experience means:
- Work experience in a relevant discipline (see above), or
- Work experience in areas such as business, commerce, economics, IT, and engineering.
Fees and Scholarships
Indicative Annual Fee
Approximate yearly cost of tuition (8 units). Your fees will vary according to your selected courses and study load. Fees are reviewed each year and may increase.

How to Apply
All international applications should be submitted to UQ. The program code for the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics and Digital Health is 5729. International students who want to study this program will not be eligible for a Student Visa (subclass 500). To study this program in Australia, you will need an Australian visa or residency status with sufficient study entitlement. Some programs can also be studied from outside Australia.
