Program Overview
The Workplace Sustainability short course is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainability initiatives in their workplace. This training will enable individuals to evaluate current work practices, develop and implement strategies to enhance sustainability, and monitor the effectiveness of these measures.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will learn how to:
- Evaluate current work practices and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the sustainability of their workplace
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of sustainability measures
- Utilise data to measure, adapt, and improve sustainability strategies
- Incorporate and apply relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and standards
- Promote a culture of sustainability
How You'll Learn
The program consists of two 1-day workshops conducted online via Teams.
Assessment
Assessment methods include written exams and reports, oral assessments, and practical demonstrations.

The program starts on 12 September 2025.
Entry Requirements
There are no academic entry requirements, but participants must demonstrate at least 2 years of work experience.

- Full fee: $545
- Funded places available for people working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, with a co-contribution fee of $180
- Free for UQ Alumni and FaBA delegates
