Program Details

Chinese Translation and Interpreting

The Chinese Translation and Interpreting major is designed for students who are native Chinese speakers. This program focuses on understanding how Chinese culture influences the meaning of written and spoken texts and how to take culture into consideration when translating or interpreting. Students will also learn about key issues in translation and interpreting ethics.
