Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science - Urban Water Engineering
Program Overview
Program Overview
The University of Queensland offers a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Science with a specialization in Urban Water Engineering. This field of study provides engineers with the integrated knowledge and skills required to grasp the whole urban water cycle and the linkages between its different aspects.
Program Description
The trend towards urbanization and associated water stress in modern cities is strengthening, and as the urban centers become more densely populated, this will not be reversed in the foreseeable future. Globally, there is a shortage of engineers with expertise in all aspects of the urban water cycle and their reciprocal influence and integration. The program aims to develop students' technical expertise through advanced and master's level courses, and select electives to complement their discipline.
