Teaching Load Requirements

The teaching load is structured across four weeks, with specific requirements for each week:


  • Week 1: Observation of the supervising teacher, planning teaching activities, 2-3 days of "hands-on" observation, assisting lesson activities, and ending the week with lesson segments.
  • Week 2: By the end of the week, students are expected to conduct full lessons.
  • Week 3: The focus is on lesson sequences by the end of the week.
  • Week 4: Continued emphasis on lesson sequences.

  • EDUC7535 Turn To Teaching - Interim Report
  • EDUC7535 Turn To Teaching - Final Report Schools are required to provide the fully signed reports to the Pre-Service Teacher, who is then responsible for uploading the report to their UQ BlackBoard site.
