Program Overview

The EDUC7615 Turn To Teaching program is designed to develop professional practice in teaching. The program is offered by the University of Queensland and is a 1st Year / 2nd PEx program.

Program Details

• Duration: 20 days - 4 week block
• Dates: 2 Nov - 27 Nov

Teaching Load Requirements

The teaching load requirements for the program are as follows:

• Week 1: Observation of supervising teacher, planning teaching activities with supervising teacher, 2 - 3 days of "hands-on" observation, assisting lesson activities, and end of week 1, lesson segments
• Week 2: End of week - full lessons
• Week 3: End of week - lesson sequence
• Week 4: Lesson sequence

PEx Reports

• EDUC7615 Turn To Teaching - Interim Report
• EDUC7615 Turn To Teaching - Final Report Schools are required to give the fully signed reports to the Pre-Service Teacher. Schools do not have to return the report to UQ (or Facilitator), it is the Pre-Service Teacher's responsibility to upload their Final Report to their UQ BlackBoard site.
