Design and Merchandising (M.S.) – Apparel and Merchandising Specialization

Overview

The master’s degree in design and merchandising with a specialization in apparel and merchandising provides a focus on scientific discovery and creative scholarship grounded in sustainability, health and wellness, and social responsibility. You will have an opportunity to learn about and conduct research in diverse fields of the discipline including apparel design and production, consumer behavior, historic fashion and textiles, merchandising, product development, social-psychological and cultural aspects of dress, and textile science supporting well-being.
