Program Overview
M.S. in Construction Management
The Department of Construction Management at Colorado State University offers a research-based graduate degree program that prepares students for exciting careers with global relevance in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. The program is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program, and the faculty are closely connected to industry partners, ensuring that the education is relevant to the evolving needs of the AEC industry.

Program Details
The M.S. in Construction Management program is offered in two plans: Plan A and Plan B.
Plan A
- Core Requirements:
- CON 502: Research in Construction Management I (3 credits)
- CON 503: Research in Construction Management II (3 credits)
- CON 511: Project Procurement and Preconstruction (3 credits)
- CON 512: Post-Award Construction Management (3 credits)
- CON 521: Sustainable Building & Infrastructure Systems (3 credits)
- CON 699: Thesis (6 credits)
- Electives: 9 credits (with approval by advisor, a minimum of one CON graduate elective course is required, and a maximum of 3 credits of CON 695 are allowed)
- Program Total Credits: 30
Plan B
- Core Requirements:
- CON 502: Research in Construction Management I (3 credits)

Admission Criteria
The deadlines for application and admission and full consideration of financial assistance for new and continuing students are as follows:
- Sept. 15 for Spring semester
- Feb. 1 for Fall semester Timely submitting your complete application can increase your chances of being accepted and receiving financial assistance. Please consider applying for future terms if you cannot submit all required application materials by the deadline.
