International Business Concentration
Program Overview
Introduction to the International Business Concentration
The International Business Concentration at Colorado State University's College of Business is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of international business practices and the skills necessary to succeed in a global economy. This concentration is offered as a secondary concentration, in addition to a primary Business Administration concentration, and prepares students for a meaningful career with organizations that operate beyond national borders.
Curriculum
The International Business secondary concentration requires at least 24 total credits of International Business courses. The curriculum includes:

Learning Outcomes
The International Business Concentration is designed to provide students with the following learning outcomes:
- Knowledge of business activities that occur between people and organizations around the world
- Understanding of leadership principles and ethical decision-making skills in a global context
- Development of a global mindset and the skills necessary for leadership positions in companies with global dimensions in their business models
- Comprehension of global competitive dynamics and how they influence industries and firms around the world
- The ability to diagnose global situations that are characterized by complexity and uncertainty while being bounded by legal, ethical and cultural norms
Program Details
The International Business Concentration is offered by the College of Business at Colorado State University. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of international business practices and the skills necessary to succeed in a global economy. The concentration requires at least 24 total credits of International Business courses and includes a variety of required and elective courses. Students can choose from a range of courses to fulfill the requirements of the concentration, including courses in finance, management, marketing, and more. The program is designed to prepare students for a meaningful career with organizations that operate beyond national borders.
