On-Campus Master of Computer Information Systems

The On-Campus Master of Computer Information Systems program at Colorado State University's College of Business offers students the opportunity to engage with world-class faculty under an AACSB-accredited curriculum. This program is designated as a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field, allowing on-campus international students to receive a visa extension after completing their degree.

Overview

While earning your Computer Information Systems degree on campus, you will gain a broad network of professionals in your field. The STEM designation of the program allows international students to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) that enables them to work for 12 months in the United States after completing the degree program. Additionally, the program offers students the chance to participate in Curricular Practical Training, connecting them with off-campus job, training, and internship opportunities.

  • Demonstrated capability, skills, and goals, evaluated via professional recommendations, resume, and statement of purpose.

The program offers various schedules, including 1½-year, 2-year, and 3-year plans, with fall and spring start options. Once admitted, students will work with their advising team to customize a schedule that fits their goals.
