Master of Science in Bioagricultural Sciences

The M.S. degree requires 30-32 credits beyond the undergraduate degree. Course selection depends on each student's focus within Bioagricultural Sciences and must be approved by the student's graduate committee.

Graduate Degree Requirements

  • Application for admission (online) is due six months before first registration.
  • Diagnostic examination when required is due before first registration.
  • Appointment of advisor is due before first registration.
  • Selection of graduate committee is due before the time of fourth regular semester registration.
  • Filing of program of study (GS Form 6) is due before the time of fourth regular semester registration.
  • Preliminary examination (Ph.D. and PD) is due two terms prior to final examination.
  • Report of preliminary examination (GS Form 16) is due within two working days after results are known.
  • Changes in committee (GS Form 9A) are due when change is made.
  • Application for Graduation (GS Form 25) is due according to published deadlines from the Graduate School Website.
  • Reapplication for Graduation (online) is required in case of failure to graduate, for the next term for which you are applying.
  • Submit thesis or dissertation to committee at least two weeks prior to the examination or at the discretion of the graduate committee.
  • Final examination is due according to published deadlines from the Graduate School Website.
  • Report of final examination (GS Form 24) is due within two working days after results are known, according to published deadlines from the Graduate School website.
  • Submit a signed Thesis/Dissertation Submission Form (GS Form 30) to the Graduate School and Submit the Survey of Earned Doctorates (Ph.D. only) prior to submitting the electronic thesis/dissertation, according to published deadlines from the Graduate School website.
  • Submit the thesis/dissertation electronically, according to published deadlines from the Graduate School website.
