Course Details
CS 110 - Personal Computing
This course covers understanding of basic computer concepts such as computer hardware and software, security and privacy, tools that use the Internet and the World-Wide-Web, and searching and collecting information.
Course Objectives
Students will also gain an understanding of how to manage and keep information secure, preparation of professional documents, creation of well-designed presentations, manipulating, analyzing and plotting data, and projecting information onto the web.
Prerequisite
Credit not allowed for both CS 110 and BUS 150.
Important Information
Students are required to have a SIMnet license for the CS100 class to get to the adaptive learning content online. This license will be automatically available to the student through the Inclusive Access program. Every student is required to own or have access to a personal computer (Mac or Windows) with Office 2016 installed. A free copy of Office 2016 is available to every student at CSU through the university.

Please note: If you are currently registered OR waitlisted for an existing main campus section of the course you have added to your shopping cart, you must first drop the main campus course section before requesting to register for the CSU Online course section. If you submit a registration request for a CSU Online section without first dropping any existing registrations or waitlist entries for the same course, your CSU Online request will not be processed.
