Course Details
BUS 650 - Supply Chain Management
This course provides an overview of the principles of value-driven supply chain, covering the design and management of supply chains, and supply chain software and applications.
Prerequisite
- BUS 500 (Business Systems and Processes) or concurrent registration.
- Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate (GR) OR Professional (PR)

Instructors
John R. Macdonald
John R. Macdonald received his Ph.D. in logistics and transportation from the University of Maryland-College Park and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Colorado State University. He also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Transportation and Logistics as well as Management Information Systems, both from Iowa State University. His teaching interests include transportation, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management. His primary research interests include disruptions in the supply chain and behavioral operations, with minor areas including supply chain strategy, issues in transportation, and strategies for third-party logistics providers.
