ECE 519 - Network Centric Systems

- Description: Network science concepts, fundamentals of network-centric systems, and case studies.
Prerequisite
- CS 165 (CS2 Data Structures)
- DSCI 369 (Linear Algebra I) or ECE 303/STAT 303 (Introduction to Communications Principles) or ECE 312 (Network Centric Systems) or ECE 421 (Telecommunications I) or ECE 456 (Computer Networks) or MATH 369 (Linear Algebra I) or STAT 303 (Introduction to Communications Principles)
- All prerequisites must be completed with a C or higher; Senior standing.
- Credit not allowed for both ECE 519 and ECE 581B8

Anura Jayasumana
- Dr. Jayasumana’s areas of expertise include Computer and Communication Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning for Networks, and Digital Circuit Design and Testing.
- He has taught courses ranging from freshmen courses on Logic Design to graduate courses in Internet Engineering, Microprocessors, and VLSI Design Automation.
- He holds three patents and is the co-author of over 300 peer-reviewed papers.
- He served as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Communications Society and is currently an ACM Distinguished Speaker.
