Overview of the MD Program
The MD Program is an innovative medical education program provided by the University of South Florida in partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). LVHN hospitals are among the largest and oldest licensed teaching hospitals in Pennsylvania, and they are among only 400 members of the prestigious Council of Teaching Hospitals.

- The program is based in Allentown and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

- Lehigh Valley Hospital -- Cedar Crest & I-78
- Lehigh Valley Hospital -- 17th & Chew
- Lehigh Valley Hospital -- Muhlenberg
- Lehigh Valley Health Services, the 500-member Lehigh Valley Physician Group
- Community health centers located in Bath, Bethlehem Township, Emmaus, Hamburg, Kutztown, Moselem Springs, Saucon Valley, Trexlertown, and Upper Bucks Health & Diagnostic Care Center.

- The hospitals have a total of 988 licensed acute beds with a medical staff of more than 1,100, over 800 of whom are board certified, representing 95 specialties.
- LVH-Cedar Crest is an advanced acute care hospital and is recognized for its accomplishments as a leading medical center and a community-based health care institution.
- It serves as a regional referral center for trauma, burn, and kidney and pancreas transplants.
