Overview of the Pre-Architecture Program
The USF School of Architecture & Community Design (SACD) offers a Pre-Architecture area of study designed to prepare undergraduate students for graduate-level architecture study and research work. Although SACD does not award bachelor's degrees, students in this track will hold "undergraduate" status for their first 120 college credit hours and "graduate" status for the remaining credit hours required to complete the master's degree program.
Program Requirements
- The professional program requires a minimum of 168 credit hours of undergraduate and graduate work, leading to the professional Master of Architecture degree.
- Before being accepted into the graduate program, students must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours, including:
- General education courses
- Physics
- Calculus
- Architecture prerequisite courses
- Having completed these requirements, students will complete the school's 108 credit-hour Master of Architecture program.
Tuition and Student Status
