Professional MBA Program
The Professional MBA program at the University of South Florida is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in business, preparing them for leadership roles in their chosen field. Program Structure
The Professional MBA program consists of 33 to 49 credit hours, which can be completed in a series of foundation, core, elective, and capstone courses. The program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in business principles, as well as the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of interest.
Foundation Courses
The foundation courses provide students with a background in key functional areas of business, including:

- Economics These courses are designed to prepare students for more advanced studies and can be waived for students with a recent undergraduate degree or coursework in business.
Core Courses

Immersion Courses and Study Abroad
The program also offers immersion courses and study abroad opportunities, which provide students with the opportunity to network with peers and build skills in leading methodologies, such as design thinking and Lean Six Sigma. These courses are optional but highly valued by students.
Professional MBA Capstone
The Professional MBA capstone is a 3-credit hour course that challenges students to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired throughout the program to a real-world business problem. Students work in teams to develop actionable strategic recommendations for a business client, providing a challenging and rewarding conclusion to the program.
