Graduate Experience

A UT graduate in Judaic Studies, Lily Dropkin, shared her experience visiting Israel, where she learned conservation techniques, including mixing mortars, documenting sites, and chiseling stone blocks. She participated in the Israeli Antiquities Authority's conservation efforts in Caesarea, one of the most famous ancient cities in Israel. The experience provided her with a wealth of historical knowledge and hands-on experience in conserving ancient ruins.
