Introduction to Managing Education
In highly developed economies, human resources are the most important prerequisite for economic growth, innovation, and international competitiveness, and thus for a nation's prosperity. The Managing Education specialization teaches you how to provide these human resources as efficiently as possible through various forms of education and how to manage the educational institutions involved as effectively as possible.
Program Overview
The program focuses on developing general insights based on economic principles that can be applied to educational organizations across the entire educational landscape (from early childhood education to postgraduate training) and to different countries. You have the freedom to set individual priorities in your studies, both in terms of the type of educational institutions considered and the research orientation or practical application of the content.
Additionally, you have the opportunity to participate in selected research-oriented courses of the international "Course Program for Doctoral Students in Economics of Education" and to take advantage of excellent opportunities for international networking and exchange.

The Managing Education minor program qualifies you for specialist and leadership positions in educational organizations, such as schools, universities, research institutes, or corporate training departments.
