Program Overview
The DSI Minor and Liberal Arts Option (LAO) Digital Skills programs are offered by the University of Zurich. These programs have the same curriculum but differ in the selection of modules for digital competencies.
Admission Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- There are no special requirements, but the requirements of the major program must be considered.
- For the Minor: Check if your (intended) master's program (90 ECTS) allows combination with the DSI Minor Digital Skills (30 ECTS).
- For the LAO: Currently, the LAO can only be combined with the "Master of Law: Rechtwissenschaft – 90 ECTS" study program.
Language Requirements
- The language of instruction is English, with language skills at least at the C1 level required.
- Some elective modules are only offered in German, so German language skills are advantageous.
Program Structure
- The Minor and LAO have the same curriculum, differing only in the selection of modules for digital competencies.
- The modules of the Minor and LAO are open to students of all disciplines through the School of Transdisciplinary Studies (STS).
Enrollment
- Enrollment for the Minor or LAO Digital Skills programs can be done through the student portal.
- The application for a study program change must be submitted by August 31 for the fall semester.
