Program Overview

University Programs

The University of Hong Kong offers various programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Undergraduate Programs

• BSc(ActuarSc) Degree Curriculum: The program structure is compulsory, and any course combination outside the structure will not be allowed. To complete the curriculum, students are required to take 240 credits of courses normally spread over four years of full-time study, with 60 credits of courses in each year.
• BSc: The BSc degree curriculum includes graduation requirements and honors classification, as well as degree regulations.
• BSc&MRes: This program combines a Bachelor of Science with a Master of Research.
• BSc&LLB: This program combines a Bachelor of Science with a Bachelor of Laws.
• BASc(AppliedAI): This program focuses on applied artificial intelligence.
• BASc: The Bachelor of Applied Science program offers various specializations.
• BEd&BSc: This program combines a Bachelor of Education with a Bachelor of Science.

Postgraduate Programs

• Taught Postgraduate Programme: The program includes various fields of study, such as applied geosciences, chemical technologies for health and materials, environmental management, food safety and toxicology, food industry management and marketing, physics, space science, artificial intelligence, and data science.
• Research Postgraduate Programme: The program offers Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees, as well as joint PhD degree programs with other universities.
• MSc in Computer Science: This program focuses on computer science and offers various specializations.
• Master of Data Science: This program focuses on data science and offers various specializations.
• MSc in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing: This program focuses on electronic commerce and internet computing.
• MSc in Financial Technology and Data Analytics: This program focuses on financial technology and data analytics.
• Master of Statistics: This program focuses on statistics and offers various specializations.
