Program Overview
Introduction to the Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) [BBA(BA)] Programme
The Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) [BBA(BA)] programme is designed to meet the growing industry demand for talents in the business analytics field. Its curriculum offers students a comprehensive coverage of both technical and managerial skill sets. Students will learn a wide spectrum of knowledge from the disciplines of information technology, data science, business statistics, and management.
BBA(BA) Curriculum Structure
Students are required to complete a total of 240 credits of courses in the 4-year curriculum, of which:
- 96 credits are courses for Major in Business Analytics
- 18 credits are language enhancement courses
- 36 credits are Common Core courses
- The remaining 90 credits are for free electives, optional second major and/or minor(s)
Business Analytics (BA) Major Programme Structure (96 credits)
The programme structure includes:

- ECON1210: Introductory Microeconomics
- Statistics requirement: choose one of the following courses

- Complete all of the following courses:

Career Prospects
Graduates of the BBA(BA) programme are expected to land on data and analytics related jobs in a wide variety of sectors such as IT, finance, supply chain, marketing, consulting, manufacturing, and so forth. They will also be competitive in pursuing post-graduate degrees in fields such as data science, information management, decision science, big data, etc.
