The HKU Master of Laws (LLM)
Medical Ethics and Law (MEL) Specialisation
The Medical Ethics and Law (MEL) Specialisation in the Master of Laws programme at HKU Law is designed as an integrated interdisciplinary course of study that addresses contentious issues of great importance affecting the health, law, and business sectors. This specialisation aims to empower students with knowledge about the big ethical and legal questions of medicine and health.
Admission Criteria
The specialisation is open to both:
- holders of non-law degrees with at least 2 years of relevant experience or professional qualifications
- holders of law degrees
Mode of Study
- Full-time: 1 year
- Part-time: 2 years
Language
The programme is conducted in English.
